Level Up Your Social Circle: Pokemon Style!

Hang out with other young adults who love Pokémon! Work together on crafts, challenges, and group games that bring out teamwork, creativity, and plenty of fun. This is a supportive space where everyone can join in, share their ideas, and make great connections.

A cozy, welcoming space where young adults can connect, make friends, and share their love of all things Pokémon. This group is designed for everyone, no matter your communication style, social comfort level, or Pokemon expertise.

Structure:

Each session includes fun, cooperative activities that naturally spark connection, such as:

  • Team-based Pokemon puzzles

  • Creative themed crafts

  • Collaborative Pokemon games and challenges

The vibe is relaxed, playful, and supportive, with activities built to encourage teamwork, creativity, and shared problem-solving.

Group Culture:

We keep the atmosphere kind, patient, and uplifting. Participants are encouraged to:

  • Listen to and include others

  • Celebrate different ways of communicating

The PokeFriends Program

  • Session Length: 1 hour 30 minutes
    Goal: Create early connections and build comfort by exploring interests, communication styles, and shared Pokemon favorites.

    Main Activity: Partner Pokemon Pairs
    Participants team up to explore:

    • Favorite Pokemon

    • Things we have in common

    • Something new we learned about each other

    Social Skills Theme

    • Patience

    • Asking supportive follow-up questions

    • Using shared interests as bridges for conversation

    This week is all about making connections and creating a space where everyone feels valued and included.

  • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

    What You’ll Do:
    This week is all about teamwork, creativity, and having fun together!

    Warm Up:
    Pick the Team Mascot Pokemon. The group chooses a mascot to represent the energy and spirit of the day.

    Main Activities. Pokémon Challenge Stations:
    Participants rotate through exciting, cooperative Pokémon-themed challenges, including:

    • Building a 6-Pokemon team together

    • Solving a Pokemon riddle

    • Completing a group puzzle or quiz

    • Drawing an original Pokémon as a team

    Why Join:
    You’ll get to collaborate with others, share ideas, and enjoy fun Pokemon challenges while making new friends and building teamwork skills.

  • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

    What You’ll Do:
    This week is all about low-pressure fun, friendly competition, and celebrating teamwork!

    Warm Up:
    Guess That Pokemon. A fast-paced, fun slideshow to get everyone excited and ready to play.

    Main Activities:
    Participants can choose or rotate through different Pokemon-themed games and challenges, such as:

    • Co-op Pokemon card battles

    • Friendly Pokemon video game sessions (noncompetitive scoring)

    • Indoor scavenger hunt
