Every area of the center is intentionally structured to promote independence, engagement, and real-world learning in a safe environment.

The environment is sensory-aware, flexible, and adaptable to meet a wide range of learning styles and support needs, ensuring accessibility for individuals across the IDD spectrum.
❋ Gaming & Technology SpaceOur gaming and technology area is designed to promote social interaction, problem-solving, and executive functioning skills. Through guided and recreational gaming experiences, participants practice turn-taking, communication, collaboration, and self-regulation in an engaging and motivating way.
❋ Art & Creative Expression StudioLed by experienced guides who know how to hold space, encourage The art and crafts area offers opportunities for creativity, self-expression, and fine motor development. Participants engage in hands-on projects that encourage exploration, choice-making, and personal expression.
❋ Life Skills & Independence ProgrammingThe Ascenda Center supports the development of practical life skills essential for adulthood. Programs may include routines: organization, time management, self-care, communication, and decision-making.
