Join our Anime Fanatics Watch Group to make new friends, discover amazing shows, and dive into the worlds you love with people who love them just as much as you do!

The PokeFriends Program

  • Session Length: 1 hour 30 minutes
    Goal: Build group connection, introduce anime genres, and set the tone for a fun, respectful fan community.
    Description: We kick off the series with interactive activities that help participants explore different anime styles while forming friendships with fellow fans.
    Activities:

    • Icebreaker: “What Kind of Anime Character Are You?”

    • Short-episode watch party (2–3 options from different genres)

    • Group discussion on themes, favorites, and interests

    • Collaborative creation of group rules and a “Top 10 Must-Watch List”

  • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

    Goal: Strengthen social skills through character analysis, teamwork, and creative expression.
    Description: Participants dive deeper into character personalities, motivations, and story arcs, then bring their creativity to life through fun, hands-on activities.
    Activities:

    • Watch: Character-focused episode(s)

    • “Design Your Own Character” drawing or digital sketching activity

    • Partner challenge: Guess the Character (voice lines or silhouettes)

    • Mini-discussion on character development and storytelling themes

  • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

    Goal: Encourage teamwork, leadership, and communication through group-based activities and exciting watch selections.
    Description: This week blends high-energy watching with interactive challenges perfect for anime fans who love action-packed stories.
    Activities:

    • Watch: Action or adventure episode(s)

    • Team trivia showdown (anime battles, powers, storylines)

    • Co-op challenge: Build a “Squad Power Ranking” using favorite characters

    • Quick creative break: Make your own battle attack name or catchphrase

  • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

    Goal: Celebrate participant interests, build confidence, and wrap up with a showcase of creativity and fandom pride.
    Description: The final week is a joyful celebration where participants share what they love most about anime through presentations, games, and a fan-favorite watch selection.
    Activities:

    • Watch: Group-chosen fan favorite

    • “Mini Cosplay or Props Day” (simple accessories encouraged, not required)

    • Anime art & creations showcase

    • Closing activity: Group reflection + “Certificates of Fandom”
